  I have always loved to swim; my dad would take me every Sunday from the age of three. After having lessons, I moved to artistic swimming where I competed for ten years. I am now a level 2 teacher and coach, I teach all ages of swimmers, from baby and toddler through to adults. It is such a great job, seeing how confidence grows with each new skill learned never gets boring and I really enjoy finding new ways to help people learn and improve their swimming.

  I have worked for ABC Swim School since 2005 when I qualified as a Level 1 Teaching Assistant. Since then I have become more involved in the admin side, working in the office and managing on poolside on Wednesday evenings. I love my job and am so proud to be part of such a wonderful, inclusive swim school. Swimming is such an important life skill for both physical and mental well being and to see the babies, children and adults progressing is amazing.

  I have always enjoyed sports from a young age, I swam for Bexley and played football for many years. Working at ABC has enabled me to carry on my passions whilst helping support and watch all the swimmer's confidence grow. I look forward to what the future of ABC holds.

  I'm currently in my second year of A-Levels studying maths, further maths and economics. I love working at ABC because its like a big happy family. Outside of work I enjoy volunteering, baking and playing with my dog.

  My name is Libby and I learnt to swim at ABC Swim School where I completed my 5000m and stage 10. I still love to swim regularly at my local gym, which has lead me to teaching children. Working at ABC has allowed me to work towards my Swim England level 1 qualification after helping on poolside. Over the years of working with ABC Swim School it has been great to watch all adults and children's confidence and abilities grow in the water.

  My name is Evie. I have been swimming with ABC since I was a child. I loved to take part in the Artistic swimming lessons and have recently passed my NPLQ Lifeguarding qualification. I am very excited about joining the ABC family and look forward to what it holds in the future.

  Hello my name is Mark, I started swimming at a very young age as my whole family as swam, I think swimming is a great sport as it is very fun and a key life skill. Now I have became a lifeguard for ABC and I like the friendly and kind environment that the ABC team create as well as helping out with the children and keeping the pool safe for everyone.

  Hello, I’m Rebekah and I have been developing my swimming skills with ABC swim school for over 11 years. I have now qualified as a lifeguard ensuring the pool is safe. I also really enjoy being a pool helper as I like to support the children in the water and develop their swimming techniques, on a weekly basis. It is very rewarding being a pool helper as each week I can see the children I support developing a fundamental life skill. I am currently working towards my level 1 teaching assistant qualification at ABC swim school.
